Kids Camp 2015

WHAT DOES IT COST?

The total cost is $250 per camper.

REGISTRATION

To be eligible for this year’s INCREDIBLE Me Kids’ Camp, parents must complete the entire application form and return it to a River Kids leader. Registration includes: 2 camp t-shirts, camp events & speakers, four nights lodging, meals, Zip-line, and $5.00 toward the Snack bar.

MEETING TIME

Registration begins Monday at 10:30am in the Regal Cinema parking lot. Check-in at the theater will take around 30 minutes to ensure that each camper has all the necessary items prior to departing for camp.

PICK-UP TIME

Friday 11:30am-noon in the Regal Cinema parking lot.  Please be sure to include your mobile carrier when you register so we can text you with any change in time or plans. ALL CAMPERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY NOON.

MAIL

Mail will be delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday morning. Please PRINT FIRST & LAST name of camper on outside of envelope. Children love mail; drop mail off during registration at Regal Cinema.

PHONE/VISITS

In order to ensure a safe environment for all campers, no outside visitors are permitted at camp. We feel as though visits and phone calls may encourage homesickness. If your child needs you, you will be contacted.

SPECIAL BGMC OFFERING

We are excited this year to again be receiving a special BGMC offering at Kids’ Camp. This offering will be used to help build a greenhouse for the King’s Castle Kids Feeding Program in El Salvador. “Buddy Barrel had a farm…EIEIO”

SPENDING MONEY

Each camper will be provided with $5.00 to spend at the snack bar. Those attending may want extra money for the snack bar (afternoon and evening). Additional money will be collected at registration and held by camp counselors to help them with their money.

PEANUT FREE CAMP

Due to serious allergies, we are a peanut/nut free camp. Please do not send peanut/nut or peanut butter snacks to camp.

BRING

  • Bedding (pillow, sleeping bag, sheets, blanket)
  • Flashlight
  • Bible and Pen
  • Camera
  • Water Bottles or Gatorade
  • Jacket, sweatshirt, long jeans for nights
  • Modest summer recreational clothing & PJ’s (no short shorts, tube tops, spaghetti straps)
  • SNEAKERS and socks (Worn for all activities)
  • Water shoes or flip flops for pool time & shower (only)
  • Towels and wash cloths
  • Toiletries – toothbrush/paste, etc.
  • Swimsuit and towel (only one-piece suits will be allowed for the girls.)

LOST AND FOUND

Please MARK/LABEL your child’s belongings. We ask that you do not send anything of great value (except your child). We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

CAMP MEDICAL STAFF

Please help the medical staff by filling out the entire Medical Authorization section of the application. Print legibly and list allergies/medical conditions that would apply to foods, camp conditions and medical conditions. ALL MEDICINES (including over the counter meds MUST have a doctors signature to be used at camp.)
