We are excited about your decision to lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ! We’d be honored to celebrate that decision with you!

Here’s what to do before the big day. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

STEP 1: REGISTER ONLINE

Let us know a little about your family. Take a moment to read these commonly asked questions about Baby Dedication.

We believe that when people are old enough to understand what it means to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they can then choose to be baptized. Baby Dedication is about your commitment as a parent to lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, so that as he gets older, you are able to guide him and to help him understand what that means.
Baby Dedication is more than an event. It is an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child. We encourage you to really talk together as parents and decide what you value and what you can do today that will have the greatest impact on your childʼs future.
Baby Dedication is also a time of CELEBRATION! During the ceremony you will be given a charge to raise your child in the love of Jesus Christ as well as pray with your pastor, family and friends. You will be asked to share a few words with everyone why you believe it is important for you as a couple to raise your child to know Jesus. We encourage you to take lots of pictures. We want this to be an unforgettable memory of the promise that youʼve made to lead your child in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

STEP 2: MEET WITH A MEMBER OF OUR PASTORAL STAFF

We want to help you focus on the things that matter most in your child’s future. We will have a conversation to help equip you to be the spiritual leader in your home and your child’s greatest guide in understanding what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

STEP 3: ATTEND THE BABY DEDICATION CELEBRATION

Be sure to invite friends and family members to the Dedication Celebration Sunday. Plan to arrive 30 minutes early to attend a 15 minute preservice orientation. Wear clothing that you will feel comfortable in for pictures.
